Pastor Jason has been in ministry for many years. He has ministered to a variety of different audiences: children, teens, and adults in many different settings, such as in hospitals, schools, prisons, neighborhoods, and the general assembly of believers. In 2012, after serving as Associate Pastor in the Baton Rouge area, he followed God’s calling and accepted the position as senior pastor of Amana Christian Fellowship in Maurice. Pastor Jason’s passion for Amana is to see many born again and consistently growing as disciples of Jesus. His desire is to see disciples of Christ filled with the Holy Spirit, consistently experiencing the awareness of Christ in the lives of the believers, allowing the world to see the life and work of Jesus – through the believer!
Heather Miller serves alongside her husband, Pastor Jason Miller, and pastors the women at Amana. Her heart is to see women walking in freedom and empowerment of Christ and walking with one hand in front and one hand behind, being mentored and mentoring other women. She has served in various facets of ministry including event coordination, children’s ministry, youth ministry, and office assistant. She also is a school counselor in Lafayette Parish and loves using her counseling skills to serve the community and the body of Christ. She feels like her greatest calling is loving and serving her family: her husband Jason and their two precious sons.
